More than a game

Benab were held to a 1-1 stalemate away against Namoro in top of the table clash on Saturday.

 

A second half strike from Taylor was canceled by Namoro as the two teams settled for a point each at the Atonsu Astro Turf.

 

Namoro who were playing at home started very well amd had plenty of possession in the early stages with the build up playing coming down both flank.

 

Despite having more of the ball, the host failed to create any goalscoring opportunity.

 

The teams went into the break with the scores level but it was the home side who were dictating the play.

 

After the break, Benab lifted their performance causing problems to the host defense.

 

The breakthrough finally came in the 73rd minute as substitute, Pato following a good run set up Tayor to fire home the opener for Benab.

 

Namoro responded three minute later with a strikd outside the penalty box to make it 1-1.

 

Benab nearly restore their lead again, only for Prince header to go off wide.

 

Despite playing five minutes of additional time, no goal none of the two sides was able to find the winner as game ends in a draw.
