Benab Football Club CEO - Sakibu Nuhu

Sakibu who started playing football in Asamankese in the Eastern Region of Ghana played for clubs including Evergreens FC, Liberty Professionals, Maapbayern FC, Zurack FC and Landon Soccer Academy in Ghana.

He trained with several clubs in Egypt including Al Wasta FC and Al Mansura FC but due to a knee injury, he could not sign a professional deal with any of the club's he trained with.

His career was cut short after Sakibu underwent knee surgery, and he opted to use a medical redshirt and return for another stint which was also hindered by another injury.

After his playing career, he became an official football agent recognized by the Ghana Football Association.

Sakibu Nuhu who heads Sterling Sports Africa was licensed by the Ghana Football Association and he is now a FIFA intermediary scouting for talents across the continent for clubs around the world.

"When you go through certain things in life, things don't always go your way," Sakibu said.

"For me, I would consider myself somewhat of a rollercoaster ride, because it's not always going to be smooth or always go the way you want it to. I have been here for a while.

"I'm thankful for everything that has happened. I feel like everything does happen for a reason. I've seen a lot and I've experienced a lot, and I'm grateful for everything this university has given me."
